After days of speculations, it has been officially confirmed that the sale of the revived, fifth generation of the iconic sport scar will start on auction. More precisely, it will take place at Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, just a few days after the Detroit Auto Show, on Saturday, January 19.
Supra fans and other sports car enthusiasts have been waiting for the new model for a way too long. Though the Japanese version was in production until 2002, U.S. model was discontinued in 1999. Two decades later, the new model is finally coming, with a little help from Bavaria this time.
The new model will have its premiere at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show, January 14. Sales should start a few months later.
