Alpine A110 Sports Car Goes on 2017 Geneva Motor Show

The French automaker prepared their new magnificent sport car what will debut on the Geneva Motor Show in March 2017. The company has already launched the A110 model in the 60’s and 70’s, and as they succeed in their category, the new sport car, as we hear from other sources should called the A120, but it’s not confirmed yet officially.

Alpine didn’t get so much on popularity with their cars on the US market, but the new concept could bring brightness on the new serial.

Exterior and Interior


The company has confirmed that the new sport car will have an aluminium chassis. The announcement came directly from the director of the Alpine company Michael van der Sande. From some resources we get know that the new car looks almost the same as the concept, with changes on the side, a wingless rear and bigger mirrors. It is equipped with a rear diffuser with an exhaust situated on the center. The fog lights inherited from the predecessor.
About how will look the inside part of the car, we do not know much, as they didn’t announced official informations yet. But we suppose as the outside part haven’t got too much refreshing, probably most of the inside part will stay almost the same as in the concept version. The super car will be available in three colours: black, white and blue.

Engine and Performance

It is officially confirmed that the car will be equipped with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, what will be a 1.8-liter engine, made from the 1.6-litre engine from the Renault Clio RS. That should produce nearly 250 horsepower, and reach a 0-62mph in 4,5 sec. The managing director of the Alpine has been told to the CAR: „It will punch above its weight for its performance. The brief was for it to be fun to drive but at sensible speeds.”( autocar.co.uk)

Alpine A110 Sports Car Release Date and Price

The new 2017 sport car will be on sale this year, after the Geneva motor show, where will appear for the first time. In Europe the price should move between €55,000 and €60,000. For the US area the price is not confirmed yet. Byers will be able to take over the car in late 2017.
