2021 Chevrolet Silverado represents an expected change in this class. Since the magnificent changes happened in heavy load trucks, Chevrolet had to change the famous truck class and follow the new models. Silverado is not the first model that undergoes this impressive upgrade. We already know that new Tahoe and Suburban RST will be significantly different from old models.
There should be novelties in other heavy-duty trucks, so showing off the new Silverado is not unexpected and surprisingly new for this class. Not only that the new Silverado will introduce significant changes in design and engine strength but they will show four new trim version of it – RST Off Road, RST Street, High Country Concept and LTZ Concept.
The main change that these new models have shown, especially the new RST Performance Package, is a new 6.2-liter V8 engine instead of the old 5.3 V8 petrol model supported by trustworthy Brembo brakes.
- The model is made in four great trim versions.
- There is a stronger engine as optional under the hood.
- The price is not known yet and could be higher than before.
- There are no photos of the cabin yet.
All four versions of 2021 Chevrolet Silverado should be capable of driving in every terrain, while some of them are great for city driving, too, being closer to F-150 model or Toyota Tacoma. As the most handsome and coolest version experts announced the RST Off-Road model, that has a wide front end, decorated with LED lights on the roof and front end.
The second model is RST Street, surely known for 22-inch wheels and dents and lines on the sides of the model. High Country Concept should be capable of driving on off-road adventures, but with bronze details on the chassis. Finally, LTZ Concept is made to be attractive to workers that need a classic heavy-load truck.
Every one of these types has an excellent cabin, with equipment that follows the expectations and needs of every one of them. So, if you are more for high-tech toys, you should choose High Country Concept, while LTZ Concept will have cameras on trunk and sides, to make towing easier.
The existing engine version of 5.3-liter V8 has been used for a long time in Silverado, and according to the information we have, it will be used in the future again. This engine version will be found in lower trims, which is RST Street, along with a new cold-air intake system and dual-exhausts that should increase the horsepower from 355 to at least 365.
The second option is mentioned new 6.2-liter V8 engine that gets High Country Concept, which should be a strong, off-road capable engine and safer than the previous one. The only possible failure in this engine could be driving performances, which are behind the luxury high-tech package that this trim gets.
