2019 Lincoln Navigator is redesigned model from 2018, amazing and magnificent as Lincoln can be, and large SUV, that is not expected from this car brand. Even though we are not used to seeing this type of the cars made in Lincoln factory, it seems that Lincoln has recognized market demands and expectations offering large vehicle together with classical luxury sedans. According to the photos made at New York Auto Show where this model has been shown, the new Navigator is redesigned old model, much larger and changed, to be more modern and attractive.
At first glance, 2019 Lincoln Navigator looks amazing and glamorous, almost as a luxury sedan, but much wider and higher. There is wide grille with wide LED front lights and thin air intake below it. Squared shape fulfills flat roof and truck door, which has modernly designed LED line that spreads over the truck door instead of classical rear lights. Wide spoiler covers the rear window and protects from sun, while the sides of the truck are flat and simple with only small decoration on the hand doors. The car is made mostly of aluminum, providing less of height and surely better driving performances thanks to that.
As we used to see in Lincoln’s cabins, the interior in 2019 Lincoln Navigator is luxury and elegant, providing many functions for passenger’s enjoyment only. There are sophisticated crafted interior details, leather on the seats in higher trims and luxury and large dashboard with chromatic details. The seats will provide massage and adjustable functions. At the middle of dashboard dominate large 12-inch touchscreen with many functions and commands. There is SYNC 3 infotainment system, 4G LTE spots, USB ports and many other things.
2019 Lincoln Navigator will be powered by a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine that produces 450 horsepower. We are not informed about trim versions, but we heard from the manufacturer that there will be versions like Conserve, Slow Climb, Normal, Excite, and Slipper, so there are high chances that some of them could get a different engine. The manufacturer offered 10-speed automatic transmission only.
2019 Lincoln Navigator Release Date and Price
As the opposite of the expectations, 2019 Lincoln Navigator will not be at the market until the end of 2018, so we should be patient for that. The base model will cost around $64,000. The main competitor to this amazing vehicle should be Infiniti QX80, but as we saw in specifications, Navigator has much more to offer in term of technology, engine performances and exterior design.
