2019 GMC Acadia should not surprise us a lot, as we know that the 2017 model was completely changed and got all interesting features. That model got new dimensions and measures and great new equipment. The last model, thus, was also slightly changed with an additional new row in the cabin and few changes in design, so now we have not expected that the manufacturer changes anything. There are still few interesting things worth to be mentioned and the manufacturer has made an effort to represent this model as completely new and redesigned.
- small dimension and good equipment.
- too simple car design.
As we said, main change this model got two years ago, but 2019 GMC Acadia remained all great things with few new interesting details. The model was diminished last year, with 7.2-inches in lengths and 3.5-inches in width. It also reduces weight for even 700 pounds, which surely helped in speed and driving control. There are no much changes now, as well as in the design of the car. It has recognizable massive front end with gridded chromatic grille and large LED lights. The rear end is wide with rear lights as the LED line shaped in letter C.
We said that after 2017 model Acadia has not been changed much, and that includes the cabin and interior equipment. However, new 2019 GMC Acadia will be slightly changed in details, and surely will get some new devices and commands, but the base design should remain the same look. Since the last model was enlarged in the cabin and got an optional third row, there are no many things that the manufacturer could have changed this time. It is expected that the new model will remain all great things from the last model, like keyless ignition, heated mirrors, Android Auto, Apple Car Play, six-speaker audio system and leather upholstery.
As on the last year model, 2019 GMC Acadia offers two optional engines. The base model includes 2.5-liter petrol engine with 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque, while the stronger engine includes 3.6-liter V6 petrol unit with 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with six-speed automatic transmission and both are offered as front and all-wheel version, depending on buyer’s demands.
2019 GMC Acadia Release Date and Price
Since there is no much change in new 2019 GMC Acadia, we do not expect changes in price either. That means that new Acadia should cost around $33,000 without additions and even $48,000 with all equipment. Expecting releasing date is Jun 2018 and after Acadia is starting to compete with cars like Dodge Durango, Honda Pilot, and Chevrolet Transverse.
