The Porsche company prepared from the 911 serial a special example. The updated GT3 is coming up, but before the market, it will debute on the Geneva Motor Show in March. Porsche is actually a leader in making race cars, and this time they were not wrong, making the most powerfull speedy machine.
Exterior and Interior
When we are talking about this most powerfull race car, exterior and interior seems to takes a back seat. It’s not that it’s not important but also the power of the machine, the engine specifics and the performance are the main thing. The new GT3 will not have major changes since from the latest model. The engineers will refresh the whole body concept for reducing the weight of the car. Overall about the interior and exterior, we can’t say too much things unfortunatelly. From some rumors we can read that updates will appear on the front and on the rear as well. The air vents are now much bigger. Splitters has new look too, but it’s not so visible. A redesigned diffuser and new bumper lamps are also showy. The race cars configuration and characteristics are unchanged. The new 911 GT3 got a safety cage, what is plugged nicely in the roof. The security and safety level is tuned up.
Engine and Performance
The next 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 model will be equipped with a 4.0-liter flat-six engine acording to AutoCar. It is capable to deliver around 500 horsepower. It is mated with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, with shift paddles. The speed is up to 60 mph in 3 seconds. The company is about to remove as much as weight as possible with using lightweight materials for example carbon fiber and aluminum.
Porsche 911 GT3 Release Date and Price
This incredible speedy machine could appear in the middle of the year or perhaps in the late autumn. As for the price, official informations are not available yet. Considering the new updates and refreshments, and also comparing it to the predecessor, it is realistic to expect a higher price.
