2018 Nissan Maxima has so many novelties and changes that we can expect a great season in the future for the manufacturer. As the car market is not already full of the great models, Nissan this time changed not only design but full equipment and cabin design in this model. The reason is, as we said, high market demands, but many lacks this model had before which influenced on sale numbers. Besides new devices in the cabin, new Maxima will be much bigger and longer, with the sharp front end and lower rear end, rounded roof, and many modern details.
Maybe the first thing a new buyer will see is sharp front end with modernized lights and better shaped front bumper. Even though we usually do not expect that on sedans, 2018 Nissan Maxima has massive and almost aggressive front end, with a trapezoidal mesh grille and wide chromatic frame. Visible and deep curved lines cover whole front end, including the hood, bumpers, and parts above wheels. The same impression provides rear end; with sharpen lines all over the truck door and wide spoiler on the top of the truck door. As that is not enough, manufacturer placed interesting rear lights, spreading them over the rear bumper.
The cabin in 2018 Nissan Maxima is as comfortable as before, with many details to make it more attractive. Modernly designed cabin covered with leather and quality plastic has a wide dashboard with many high-tech devices and instruments, together with a large touchscreen and impressive, almost sporty like a steering wheel with chromatic details. All is fulfilled with a line across the doors, made of imitation of wood. In term of technology, the manufacturer has promised many novelties, including keyless entry and ignition, automatic headlights, 8-inch touchscreen, dual-zone climate control and finally incorporated Apple Car Play.
Nothing new should be under the hood of 2018 Nissan Maxima, according to the manufacturer. That means the same 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine with 300 horsepower and 261 pound-feet of torque as on the last model. Together with the front wheel driving system, it should be paired with CVT transmission, too. In term of safety, the manufacturer offers Safety Pack Plus as standard and collision mitigation as an addition in higher trims.
2018 Nissan Maxima
The manufacturer will finally represent 2018 Nissan Maxima in November 2017 so many things will be known then. Base model should cost around $33,500, but that is only starting price which, for the model like this, could go much over $40,000 in higher trims. Nissan expects to beat the competition with this model, including Kia Cadenza and Toyota Avalon among them.
