2018 Nissan Altima

"This article is based on a rumors (It's not officialy confirmed)"
2018 Nissan Altima brings a fresh look and shape, together with new buyers’ habits and expectations. After the almost a decade of leading on car market, it seems that crossovers lose the race with family sedans. The reasons could be many. First of all, new fuel prices which will rise up starting from 2020 has not promised good future for large and massive cars and their big engines. Classic sedans, on the other hands, have changed many things so far, including equipment and comfort in the cabin for whole families. Altima is actually not the first model which has undergone so many changes, as models like Mazda 6 and Chevrolet Malibu has already shown it on last Auto Shows.

Exterior

Do not expect so many surprises in the design of 2018 Nissan Altima, although there is few interesting worth of mentioning details only on this model. Made on the same platform as much larger Maxima, Altima had so much space to spread itself in details. Attractive and modern, but still typical Nissan trapezoidal front end has a wide chromatic line which ends in rounded hood line. Wide LED lights are on the sides of the front bumper, with small fog lights, hidden below many curves and lines on the front bumper. The rear end, on the other hand, has long and wide truck door, with additional chromatic lines and simple but effective rear lights. Rounded roof and flat sides are designed to provide classic shape under the modern cover.

Interior

Being slightly bigger, 2018 Nissan Altima has so much space to grow inside, so we expect wide and comfortable cabin, equipped with the best pieces in class. There should be placed many novelties in the high-technology package, covered with highly expensive and attractive materials.

Engine

One is for sure, 2018 Nissan Altima promises better driving performances and less fuel economy than other cars in the class. That is provided with two efficient engines, 1.2-liter and 1.6-liter petrol engines and stronger 3.5-liter V6 model in higher trim. Average strength is around 200 horsepower, but as we do not know other numbers, we cannot promise that it will be fastest in the class. But, this year is a perfect moment for releasing sedans with smaller engines, due to petrol prices rising up in years to come and surely higher costs for drivers.

2018 Nissan Altima Price

Even though the price of $23,000 is average in the class, 2018 Nissan Altima main trump is fuel economy and simple but effective design of the classic car. All other information will be known in months to come.
