As a new generation of the old and popular model, 2018 Lincoln Navigator simply has to be better but still attractive to old buyers, and that is not easy. The manufacturer has made a risk dropping old aggressive and massive look, accepting a new shape of the car, which includes soft edges and more rounded front end. As that is not enough, they have made it more stylized, together with extra cargo space and more space inside of the cabin. There are important changes in equipment and technology used in the cabin. Finally, the car is modernized, but not at expenses of quality, so those who have waited for a long time for it now has reasons to be satisfied with.
As we said, 2018 Lincoln Navigator is made to be more attractive and modern, so every detail is made for that purpose. Besides many luxury details made of chrome which can be found all over the car, even on hands of the door, there are great soft edges and rounded front end, with many luxury details. Speaking about the front end, there is squared mesh grille, together with chrome in the frame and irregularly shaped LED lights, with small rounded fog lights below it. Below it is wide air intake and small intakes on the edges. The rear end is more squared and simple, with only a few details and modern rear lights.
We already expected high luxury in the cabin of 2018 Lincoln Navigator, but what we saw outperforms our expectations. Even though the dashboard is simple on first glance, it hides many commands and important buttons, perfectly placed so every driver can easily use them. Ford puts its famous Sync 3 system, Wi-Fi connection, and even six-USB outputs, together with many modern things. In case that you feel the cabin familiar, you are not wrong, it is almost the same as on Lincoln Explorer.
It is not always expected that cars known to luxury and elegance in style have strong and fast engines, but that is exactly what happened with 2018 Lincoln Navigator. They put a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine under the hood, with 450 horsepower of strength. That is stronger than on some larger trucks we know. Matching it with ten-speed automatic transmission gave to the car more strength and speed. There is a possibility that this model will be all-wheel driving system only.
