It is predicted that 2018 Dodge Demon is featured in some scenes of a new movie “The Fate of the Furious”, alternatively known as Fast and Furious 8. The Fate of the Furious arrives in theaters on April 12, and about at the same time the Dodge Demon will have his debut at the 2017 New York International Auto show.
You can see in movie trailer that there will be a wide-body Challenger included. And let’s be real movie is about fast cars and the Dodge Demon is a fast car. It is said that he will be turning solid tires into noise and smoke.
2018 Dodge Demon featured in Fast and Furious 8
The Dodge Demon is more powerful alternative to his Dodge Challenger Hellcat sibling and it’s more lighter and wider. In the latest Demon teaser campaign, Dodge revealed that the car have 45 square inches hood scoop. They call it Air Grabber and it’s the most largest functional hood scoop ever seen on car.
It is still a secret how much power Dodge Demon actually has. What we know is, under the hood are added special ducting, who help air fed into the scoop will go directly to the engine’s intake. Which will be housed in a markedly larger air box than the one Dodge Challenger Hellcat have. The Dodge Demon have two air catcher headlights. Because of that his inlet air temperature will be about 30 degrees cooler than in Dodge Challenger Hellcat.
