Many of details in 2018 Dodge Avenger are already seen on the last model, so we do not expect many changes in that field. However, it is expected that some details, like mesh grille separated on four, could be chromatic. The classic front end will also have redesigned LED front lights, incorporated in hood line, wide air intake below it and small rounded fog lights. The rear end has classic shape and design of sedan, with curved lines and redesigned modern rear lights, while wide spoiler is placed on the top of the truck door and double exhausts. A sloped roof and lower front end allow better aerodynamics of the car.
Changes in cabin design in 2018 Dodge Avenger are also made to make the car more attractive to new buyers. Surprisingly, the car will now be adjusted for families, even we usually do not expect that from something which has Dodge in name, but as manufacturer explained, this is a time for family comfort cars. A combination of black and red color is there to recall on the sporty purpose of the car, while wide dashboard has a classic design, couple of buttons and large touchscreen on the top for every command which are needed.
Even though we still have not a confirmation of that there should be offered more than one engine in 2018 Dodge Avenger. Base model could be 2.4-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 173 horsepower of strength. The higher trim version could get 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with 283 horsepower. Together with four-speed automatic transmission, there should be also offered six-speed manual transmission. All other measures could be the same, including acceleration time of 8 seconds and fuel economy of around 20 mpg combined. Manufacturer kept all safety equipment from the last model, including many air-bags, electronic traction control, and special LATCH anchor child seat.
