2018 Chevrolet Trax Review

A new member of Chevrolet family is going to hit the market as a 2018 model. It will be the new 2018 Chevrolet Trax. This crossover underwent significant rework and upgrades last year, so you should not expect any drastic changes and surprises on the 2018 model.

The seats will be adjustable with the option of folding down, but only in Premier trims you will find them covered in leather. This roomy cabin will also be well-equipped with the latest entertainment and My Link infotainment system. You can expect the Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity, Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple Car Play and Android Auto and a 7-inch touch screen. In terms of safety, you will be provides with features such as air bags, brake assist, traction control and stability control system, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, forward collision alert, rear cross-traffic detection, rearview camera and others.


When it comes to power train, the 2018 Chevrolet Trax will be using a 1.4-liter Ecotec turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It will be able to provide 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. Both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive systems will be offered, but the first one will come with a six-speed automatic or manual transmission while the other will be geared with a six-speed automatic transmission only.

2018 Chevrolet Trax Price and Release Date

According to the information we have got about the price details, the new 2018 Chevrolet Trax will start at around $22,000 for the base LS model. The release date of this crossover is expected somewhere in the late 2017.
