As the last model has simple designed, but large mini-van, the same is expected with 2018 Chevrolet City Express, too. That includes flat lines and sharp edges, which promise large cargo space and high roof for passengers’ comfort, even they are very tall. However, that is at the cost of design, so new City Express, as well as the old one, cannot boast with the interesting and modern design. The short front end is fulfilled with trapezoidal gridded grille and thin LED lights, rounded with the chromatic line. Below them is, maybe a little old fashioned wide air intake.
Even though we can expect a leather and quality fabric on higher trim, base model 2018 Chevrolet City Express simply has not so many modern performances to show. Simply and the old fashioned dashboard has numerous of air intakes and buttons, as on average vans. There are no such things like high-technology devices or touchscreen, although some additions and look of steering wheel promise better look. However, the manufacturer has promised the interesting devices and additions, like Sirius XM Satellite radio, USB connection, Wi-Fi hotspot for Google maps, remote start and complete power accessorize.
As the manufacturer promised more than one trim version of 2018 Chevrolet City Express, there is expected that engine range will go from 6.0-liter V8 engine with 342 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque to 6.6-liter Duramax V8 engine with 525 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Measured fuel economy is amazingly 34 mpg for highway and 37 in city drive. The same engine version has been seen on Toyota Tacoma and Dodge Ram Van, so it promises good performances.
Even though this information has not been confirmed by the manufacturer, we have a lot of reasons to expect to release of new 2018 Chevrolet City Express at the end of the year. Base price should be around $32,000.
