2018 Buick Grand National Predictions

"This article is based on a rumors (It's not officialy confirmed)"
Although that sounds unbelievable, 2018 Buick Grand National should be great coming back to the old and one of the most popular models made in this factory 30 years ago. As that model disappeared since then, many people do not believe that this news is true. However, we had information from the manufacturer that they have planned to make this model and recall on old days when this name was a synonym for elegance and luxury. To be even more interesting, the new model should be offered in two versions, as a classic four-door sedan and two-door coupe.

Exterior

The manufacturer could not go much further than it gone for current models made in GM, so 2018 Buick Grand National will look as those new cars we already have on the market. It is most likely that it will look like Chevrolet Camaro and Cadillac ATS and CTS. It will also be made on standard Alpha Platform as those models, which is different from the old Buick cars mostly made on Epsilon II Platform. However, it will have the recognizable shape and design seen on old models, with famous gridded chromatic grille and modernly shaped and designed lights and details.

Interior

Although the manufacturer has announced the greatness in every part of the car, we had not a chance to see how it looks like inside. It is expected that the manufacturer will offer many similarities with its models made in GM factories.

Engine

There will be offered more than one version of the engine in 2018 Buick Grand National. Base model should get 2.0-liter four-in-line turbo petrol engine with 272 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The second option is a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 321 horsepower and 274 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are already known and seen in Cadillac ATS. However, the manufacturer announced that some versions could get a newly-improved 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that is seen in 2018 Regal GNX Sedan. That engine is available with 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. All versions could be offered with six-speed automatic and manual transmission and eight-speed automatic Hydra-Matic transmission.

2018 Buick Grand National Release Date and Price

When the final version is made in GM’s Lansing Grand River Assembly plant in Michigan, and that could be at the end of 2017, it will be on the market as soon as possible. It is likely to be when all RNX versions are shown. Starting price is around $29,000 but it could be more than $42,000 with all equipment the manufacturer plans to offer.
